SB 907, the Naturopathic Physicians Act, has been submitted to legislation and is scheduled to go before the Senate business and Professions Committee on April 28^th, 2003.  The bill is authored by Senator John Burton, President of the California Senate and will be moving through legislation this session.  Citizens are encouraged to take action and show their support for naturopathic physicians is California to all the committee members.  To show your support please contact the California Association of Naturopathic Physicians or go to www.naturalmedicinenow.org and sign up on the email support network.

Under the legislation of SB907, Naturopathic physicians will be able to practice to the full scope of their training and consumers will have access to licensed naturopathic physicians with the full range of diagnostic evaluation and treatment options.
